Are you a sales-oriented agribusiness leader with a strong farmer network in Northern Italy?

An international agricultural trading group is looking for a Commercial Managing
Director (m/f) to lead and further develop its Italian subsidiary in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining sales, business development, operations
and people management. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening
relationships with farmers, expanding the customer base and driving future growth.

What will be your responsibilities?

✔️ Lead and develop the Italian business unit

✔️ Drive sales growth and expand the customer base

✔️ Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives and agricultural
businesses

✔️ Develop the business for fertilizers, seeds and crop protection products

✔️ Manage grain drying, storage and trading activities

✔️ Lead a local team and oversee daily operations

✔️ Act as the main point of contact between the Italian operation and the international
group

Who are we looking for?

We are specifically looking for candidates who already operate within the agricultural
sector and understand the needs of farmers in Northern Italy.

Your background:

✔️ Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences or a related agricultural discipline

✔️ Several years of experience in agribusiness, agricultural cooperatives, grain trading
or agricultural inputs business

✔️ Proven sales and business development experience

✔️ Existing network of farmers, cooperatives and agricultural stakeholders in Friuli-
Venezia Giulia and/or Veneto

✔️ Experience leading teams, business units or agricultural organizations

✔️ Strong entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset

✔️ Native Italian and good working knowledge of English and/or German

Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly preferred:

✔️ Agricultural cooperatives (Consorzi Agrari)

✔️ Fertilizers

✔️ Seeds

✔️ Crop protection products

✔️ Grain trading and grain storage

✔️ Agricultural distribution
